Bradshaw Farms - May 22nd

The low handicappers came out and showed off yesterday. We had a great tournament even though a storm came upon the course an hour before the first group was to tee off. The storm moved off and the day was perfect just as the first group teed off. The rain helped to soften the course and to lower scores. .

 

Kevin Ticko and T.J. Elgin had great rounds and tied for first place. Kevin and TJ met at the putting green for a chip / putt off which Kevin came out the winner. These two players are the hottest on tour right now and the points race show it. Kevin is playing some fantastic golf right now and TJ winning playing scratch is amazing. Keep up the hard work guys.

Two other previous winners this year tied for 2nd place showing how consistent their games are this year. John Elliott and Chris Howe are managing a great 2020 season so far. The points race is very tight with multiple players having a chance to win the first half points race with only one more tournament remaining. The next tournament will be worth 200% point value so every stroke will count to determine the first half winner.

 

Our next tournament will be on June 10 at Georgia National Country Club in Mcdonough. This is a great course and we are lucky enough to get to play it thanks to Tommy Lloyd. Tee times will be starting at 12:00.
